Tony Hallsworth
Tony started his musical experience at 17yrs old playing drums with an original band doing support slots to named bands at venues such as Universities, Colleges and auditoriums.Originally learning guitar to write songs, it soon became his main instrument and he eventually took it up full time.
In a career that spanned over 20 years Tony has worked on cruise ships as part of the band or orchestra, and in hotels and resorts worldwide for the likes of Tomsuns, Airtours, P&O, Budwieser Carnival in Japan and numerous Middle East Companies.He also played for two years in the West End show Joey and Ginas Wedding.
Tony has played in several "Tribute Bands" and worked with musicians from well known bands such as Thin Lizzy, Bros, Mike and the Mechanics, Liza Stansfield and Simply Red.
Tony teaches both private students and public classes at Music Technology for Leyland College.

Alex, who is also a member of our dance teaching staff, played Violin and Glockenspiel as a child, performing with the Calderdale Youth Orchestra. She was a member of Starlite Singers as a student of singing lessons between the age of 8 and 18, performing locally.
Alex started performing at the local theatre, Todmorden Hippodrome age 10 and can still be seen singing the principal role in theatres locally. In previous roles she has played the characters, Mabel, Charity, Lola, Eliza Dolittle, Morticia Adams, Rusty, Mimi, Suki and Eva Peron.

Ed is a Multi Instrumentalist and Professional Violinist who has trained for nearly 2 decades, taught string instruments for 10 years and has performed with a wide range of Artists with mixed musical styles and backgrounds.
He studied Fine Art at Falmouth University College, specialising in Sound Art and Mixed Media and continues to work as an Artist where in 2015, Ed started a business providing experimental Music Workshops for children of all ages. He sas a passion for alternative teaching methods combining Storytelling, Performance and deep listening techniques.
Edward is available for tuition in Ukulele, Violin, Banjo and Dulcimer.
